Hello, I’m Shawnda - a passionate and experienced Interior Designer and Home Stager with a deep understanding of how thoughtful design can elevate a space, tell a story, and ultimately drive value. My work blends beauty with purpose—whether I’m transforming a lived-in home for sale, styling a vacant listing from the ground up, or refreshing a space to reflect a client’s lifestyle and goals.
My background as an award-winning Realtor—including Rookie of the Year, Platinum Club, and $1 Million Club honors—has given me a unique advantage in the staging world. I know what sells, how buyers think, and how the right visual presentation can create an instant emotional connection. This industry insight allows me to stage not just for aesthetics, but with strategy—helping homes stand out, sell faster, and often for more.

She plays a key role in expanding the company's presence throughout the East Bay by connecting with real estate professionals, building strategic partnerships, and helping position Elegant Bay Design as a premier staging and design resource.
With a natural ability to communicate value and understand client needs, Susan works closely with agents and homeowners to ensure a seamless experience from initial contact through project completion. She is instrumental in coordinating marketing efforts, supporting outreach initiatives, and elevating the company's visibility through targeted engagement and relationship-building.
Susan's collaborative approach and attention to detail help bridge the gap between design, operations, and client service—ensuring that every project reflects the high-end, polished standard that defines Elegant Bay Design.
Rowin Bagley
Operations Manager – Staging & Installations
Rowin Bagley serves as Operations Manager at Elegant Bay Design, working closely alongside Shawnda to support all staging logistics, installations, and on-site execution. He assists in bringing each design vision to life while ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.
With a strong work ethic and attention to detail, Rowin plays a key role in coordinating installations, managing inventory, and maintaining workflow. He is also capable of independently overseeing installation days, helping ensure every space is completed to the highest standard.
Marc Lopez
Assistant Operations Manager
– Staging & Installations
Marc Lopez supports staging logistics and installation execution at Elegant Bay Design on a part-time basis while pursuing his studies at College of Marin and competing as a collegiate athlete. Working closely with the Operations Manager, he assists with furniture placement, inventory organization, and overall setup, helping bring each design vision to life.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on, Marc plays an important role in ensuring each project runs smoothly and is completed to a high standard.
Carson Marable
Staging & Logistics Assistant
Carson is a valued member of the Elegant Bay Design team, assisting with staging installations, furniture assembly, and on-site setup. He plays an important role in bringing each design to life, helping ensure every space is styled with care and attention to detail.
With a strong work ethic and hands-on approach, Carson supports the execution of staging projects, from unloading and building furniture to final placement and finishing touches. His positive attitude and reliability make him a great asset during installations and fast-paced project timelines.
